Showing Our Disney Side 2015

I was so excited to have been chosen to host another Disney Side party!  The box arrived in January and wow I was blown away once again!  We were chosen to host a Cars theme party and our box contained the following fun items. Mickey Wilton Cake Pan, Duff tie dye cake mix, Sprinkles, All Detergent, Wisk, Snuggle Scent Boosters, Twining Tea, and tons of Car themed decorations, party game items and prizes.  Too many to list!!!

Our party was suppose to be in February but due to illness and then bitter cold and snow we had a few hiccups.  So we decided to pack up our party box and take our party on the road! We drove six hours to celebrate our Disney Side AND a very special birthday, my Grandpa's 98th birthday! Our party was held March 7th at the assisted living community where my grandparents live.  We had a nice room reserved for this special day.  Before we left on our adventure we made cupcakes using the Duff cake mix.  This was my first time making these and I have to say, they were kind of fun :)

 The stop light cupcakes were a hit.  I was impressed at how easy they were to make!

 Once we arrived at our destination, we set up the decorations, and got ready to party!

We played Card games, Board games, Bingo, Pin the smile on Mickey, Memory Match, Put together Puzzles, Colored pictures and ate some YUMMY goodies!

So in the end.... the party wasn't quite what we had originally planned, but it was an AMAZING time celebrating a very special man with a great group of friends and family!

I took the product out of the box it arrived in and wow was the scent overwhelming!  I was scared to use them as I didn't want to be a walking dryer sheet!  So I gave them a shot on some towels, and although they were good for my towels, I would not use them on my clothes.  The scent was just too much for me.  Sorry that's my honest opinion

I've always loved Purex crystals so when I was picked to test Purex's limited edition crystals, Fabulously Fresh, I was excited! The box arrived and I couldn't wait to break into it.  The bottle is so cute, flowery, girly and the scent is fresh.

 I decided to use it on a load of towels that had been needing washing.  The smell was quite overbearing when I opened the bottle but I decided to give it a try anyway.  To my surprise the towels came out smelling fresh, not overbearing.  The scent lasted for days and made my linen closet smell fresh too! I can't decide what I should wash next!!!

 Showing OUR Disney Side!

* I was ecstatic to be chosen to host a #DisneySide @Home Celebration party! I received promotional and party items in a celebration kit from Disney Parks and MomSelect in order to throw my party.  All ideas, opinions, and Disney obsession are 100% my own.  Use the Disney Side Celebrations website to get ideas to host your own Disney Side party.

 I was so excited to be chosen to throw a Disney Side Party!  The party planning began right away!

Unfortunately, do to the weather and illness, our party kept getting postponed.  Sunday March 2nd, we were finally able to get together with family and a few friends to show off our Disney side!

We had an amazing time playing bingo, trivia, watching movies and eating lots of goodies.  We were even able to get the teenagers to put down their phones and join in the fun.  That's a big accomplishment in my opinion! 

                                                                                  

 For goodies we had Taco Layered Dip/Chips, Homemade Taco Pizza, Mickey Sugar Cookies (Thanks to the Sugar Shack of Alexandria -My sisters shop) and Ice Cream!

 As you can see we had a great party and hope to host another one in the future!!!
